One day, an evil sorceress named Maleficent put a curse on the princess. She declared that on Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, she would prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die. The kingdom was thrown into mourning at the news of the curse, but the king was determined to save his daughter.

The kingdom rejoiced at the news of the princess' awakening, and the king was overjoyed to see his daughter again. The prince and Princess Aurora were married in a grand ceremony, and they ruled the kingdom together, bringing happiness and peace to all the land.

And so, the curse was broken, and true love triumphed over evil. The kingdom lived happily ever after.
